Climb aboard our Pirate Party Ship and set sail across the seven seas for a holiday camp full of adventure. We`ll read some super pirate picture book stories such as `Knock Knock Pirate` by Caryl Hart, `Pirate Stew` by Neil Gaiman and `Pirates Love Underpants` by Claire Freedman. These fun stories will lead us into some swashbuckling projects. Over the first 3 days of the week we`ll construct, paint and make ourselves the perfect pirate costume complete with pirate hat, t-shirt, cutlass and hook. At the end of the week we`ll make some fun treasure maps, build a treasure chest and create a cute and colourful parrot canvas. We`ll party with plenty of jewels, gems, shiny things and glitter! We`ll also have plenty of fun playing at the park (weather permitting) and playing games and dancing in the studio.
The children will be able to use a variety of art materials, different paints, clay, stamps, stencils, recycled crafting materials and plenty of fun decorations including embellishments and sparkle! There will also be some time for the children to enjoy the freedom to make their own art using the many materials on offer in the Storycraft Studio through activities such as structured materials challenges and free-making time. We will visit the beautiful park by the lake opposite us each day (weather permitting!) to get some fresh air and play some fun games.
9am - 4pm
All art materials, snacks and drinks will be provided
Children are asked to bring a packed lunch.
For children aged around 5 years - 10 years
Projects run over at least 2 days to allow for drying time. Therefore booking is available as follows:

2nd - 3rd May (2 days)
Prices:
2 days: 250chf
3 days: 350chf
5 days: 550chf
Price includes all art materials and snacks. Please note both weeks have the same Storycraft programme. The first camp week will be led by Kortney and Mady, the second camp week will be led by Kortney (with another teacher if required.)

Step into a magical forest with Storycraft this summer. Follow the path through the trees to encounter woodland creatures, magic mushrooms and maybe even a fairy or two, but make sure you look out for the wicked witch or could it even be a wolf hiding behind the leaves! This summer Storycraft will take your child on a magical adventure filled with fantastic stories such as the fairytale `Hansel and Gretel` by Margaret Mayo (with beautiful illustrations from Helen Stephens),`The Foggy Foggy Forest`by Nick Sharratt and the beautiful classic `Children of the Forest` by Elsa Beskow. We`ll be inspired by these great stories to make some super projects including Papier Mache Animals, Forest Theme Tote Bags, a Magic Mushroom money box (with optional fairy!), a furry animal Notebook, a cute Fox Canvas (nb. different project to term Fox Canvas) and colourful clay animals. We`ll also have plenty of fun playing at the park (weather permitting) and playing games and dancing in the studio.
