Looking for a magical weekend adventure for your little one? Storycraft now runs every two weeks on Saturday mornings from September to April during term-time, bringing creative fun to kids aged 2–10! Parents/carers must attend with young children. Children over 4.5 years who can work independently can attend as a drop-off.
Each 90-minute session combines beloved picture book stories with hands-on art activities using materials like paint, gems, sequins, pom-poms, pipe-cleaners, papier-mâché, clay, glitter, collage papers, fluff—and more! Enjoy joyful, family-friendly sessions filled with colour, creativity, and quality time together.

❄️👑 Snow Queen Winter Crowns Workshop
28th February 10.30–12.00
Step into a world of winter wonder with this creative workshop inspired by The Snow Queen — a magical way to brighten January with stories, sparkle, and imagination.
We’ll begin with a modern retelling of the classic winter fairytale, then children will design and create their own winter inspired Crazy Crown, inspired by frosty landscapes, snowflakes, and icy castles.
Kids will just love exploring all the fun materials at this session! Using paint sticks, coloured tissue paper, patterned papers, and foil, children will build their crowns and finish them with white glitter, gems, sequins, feathers, shiny pipe cleaners, and snowflakes. Each crown will be unique, playful, and full of winter magic.
This hands-on session supports creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence. Every child will take home a finished crown to wear and treasure.
Parents/carers must attend with young children. Children aged 4.5+ who can work independently may attend as a drop-off.

🧚✨ Fairy/Magic Gardens Workshop

Welcome the start of spring with this playful fairy garden workshop — a lovely way to look forward to lighter days through making, imagination, and gentle sparkle.
We’ll begin by sharing the cheerful fairy story Backyard Fairies, before children create their own Magic House and Garden — a small world to paint, decorate, and bring to life. Will your house be a home for a fairy or maybe a gnome or a wizard or even a monster?
Children will enjoy painting and hands-on crafting using a wide range of materials, including coloured sand, glass gemstones, shiny gem stickers, sequins, and artificial flowers. We’ll add thoughtful details such as a straw chimney with drifting “smoke”, along with plenty of glitter and sparkle to give each garden its own character.
If time allows, children will also make a small fairy to live in their garden, with wings and personalised details such as colourful hair — pink if they like.
This session encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and imaginative play, while gently celebrating the feeling of spring. Each child will take home a fairy garden to treasure and continue playing with.

🐥✨ Easter Baby Chicks Workshop

Celebrate spring and Easter with a fun, hands-on workshop full of creativity, colour, and cute baby chicks!
We’ll start by sharing the delightful picture book Nanny Fox, then children will paint wooden eggs and decorate them to make their very own baby chicks .. and maybe a rabbit or two! Using feathers, Easter nesting materials, foam, card and plenty of other fun craft embellishments, they’ll add eyes, beaks, and other details to bring each chick to life.
This session encourages imaginative play, fine motor skills, and creative expression, while letting children explore texture, colour, and a touch of seasonal magic. Each child will leave with a collection of adorable chicks to take home and enjoy.
